Product Overview and Buyer Fit

The QNO-7080R belongs to Hanwha Vision’s Q-series network camera family and is positioned for professional small-to-medium surveillance applications. The camera uses a 1/3-inch 4MP CMOS sensor and supports resolutions up to 2592 × 1520. At 4MP it can deliver up to 20 frames per second with H.265 or H.264, while 2MP operation can reach up to 30fps depending on the video standard. This makes the model useful where the buyer wants more detail than a basic 1080p camera while retaining a practical bandwidth and storage profile.

The major buying advantage is the motorized 2.8–12mm varifocal lens. A fixed-lens camera locks the installer into one angle of view, but this model can be adjusted across a broad-to-narrow field after placement. Wide settings can suit entrances, yards or loading areas, while the tele end can narrow the scene toward a gate, corridor, cash-handling point or other defined target. Because the exact lens setting should be decided by scene width and target distance, FourTeck recommends confirming the expected identification requirement before final mounting.

For Dubai projects, the IP66 weather rating and IK10 impact resistance are especially relevant for exterior walls, covered loading areas, parking zones, warehouses and service entrances where the camera may face dust, humidity, sun exposure or accidental impact. Environmental suitability should still be checked against mounting position, direct heat, cable termination method, junction-box protection and any local project specification. The camera’s published operating range is -30°C to +55°C with less than 90% relative humidity, and startup is specified above -20°C.

Key Features and Business Benefits

4MP Video Detail

Up to 4MP capture gives security teams additional scene detail for entrances, corridors, parking areas, yards and general business monitoring without moving into the storage demand of much higher-resolution cameras.

Motorized Varifocal Lens

The 2.8–12mm lens provides approximately 4.3x optical adjustment. Installers can remotely refine framing and simple focus after mounting, helping match the camera to a real viewing distance rather than relying on a one-angle fixed lens.

30m Infrared Illumination

Integrated IR supports monochrome viewing in darkness with a published reach of up to 30 metres. Actual useful identification distance depends on scene reflectivity, lens setting, mounting angle and environmental conditions.

120dB WDR

Wide Dynamic Range helps handle scenes that contain both bright and dark areas, such as building entrances, loading doors, reception-facing glass or parking exits where backlight can make subjects difficult to see.

Efficient Streaming

H.265, H.264 and MJPEG plus multiple streaming allow integrators to balance recording quality, live-view bandwidth and compatibility. WiseStream I further supports bandwidth efficiency within compatible deployments.

Edge Storage and Events

A microSD/SDHC/SDXC slot supports edge storage up to 128GB, while event functions include motion, tampering and defocus detection. Storage should be sized around bitrate, event recording method and retention expectations.

Compatibility, Configuration and Deployment Guidance

The QNO-7080R is a network camera, so the procurement decision should include the recorder or video-management platform, PoE switching, cabling, storage capacity and remote-access method rather than treating the camera as an isolated item. Hanwha publishes ONVIF Profile S/G and SUNAPI support. Even with open-protocol support, an integrator should confirm that the selected NVR or VMS supports the required resolution, event handling, audio functions and configuration controls before a multi-camera order.

For power, the camera supports IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 3 or 12V DC. PoE is often attractive because one Ethernet run carries both data and power, but the switch still needs enough total PoE budget for every connected camera. A ten-camera design should be checked against the switch’s real usable PoE capacity, uplink bandwidth and UPS runtime. For long cable runs, structured cabling quality, termination, surge exposure and any intermediate network equipment should be considered.

Storage should be calculated from camera count, selected resolution, frame rate, H.265/H.264 choice, target bitrate, continuous versus event recording, retention days and redundancy. The onboard microSD slot can support edge recording or event resilience, but it should not automatically be treated as a substitute for a properly sized NVR when centralized retention is required. Buyers should also confirm user permissions, secure password policy, HTTPS use, network segmentation and firmware maintenance as part of the deployment plan.

Ideal Customers and Use Cases

Warehouses & Logistics

Monitor loading bays, dispatch doors, external walls, vehicle approach areas and perimeter lanes where adjustable framing and night visibility are useful.

Retail & Commercial Sites

Use at shop entrances, service areas, building approaches or outdoor corridors where WDR and motorized framing can help accommodate changing lighting and scene width.

Offices & Campuses

Suitable for external entrances, staff access routes, delivery points and selected corridor views when a bullet form factor is preferred.

Parking & Gate Areas

The adjustable lens can be aimed toward a gate, drive lane or parking approach, although dedicated LPR/ANPR requirements should use a camera specifically designed for license-plate capture.

What to Confirm Before Ordering

  • Required camera quantity and exact mounting locations.
  • Target distance, scene width and whether identification or general observation is required.
  • NVR or VMS model and supported camera features.
  • PoE switch port count, total PoE budget and uplink capacity.
  • Recording resolution, frame rate and required footage-retention days.
  • Outdoor cabling, junction boxes, surge protection and mounting accessories.
  • MicroSD requirement and whether edge recording is part of the design.
  • Need for audio, alarm input/output or event integration.
  • Current availability, project quantity, delivery location and applicable commercial terms.

Comparison and Related-Model Guidance

Choose the QNO-7080R when the project needs a bullet-format 4MP camera with a motorized varifocal lens, 30m IR and outdoor-rated housing. A fixed-lens camera may be simpler and less expensive when the viewing angle is known and will never change. A dome or vandal-dome camera can be preferable for ceilings, public-facing interiors or installations where a less directional form factor is desired. A higher-resolution camera may be justified when the same mounting position must capture a wider scene while retaining more pixel detail, but that also increases storage and network demand.

The closely related QND/QNV 7080-series form factors may suit projects that prefer dome housings, while newer Hanwha camera families can offer different analytics, low-light, AI or cybersecurity capabilities. The correct alternative depends on use case rather than model number alone. FourTeck can compare the intended scene, recorder, storage plan and integration requirement before a substitute is selected.

Hanwha QNO-7080R Dubai

Dubai buyers searching for the Hanwha QNO-7080R are usually planning a commercial CCTV requirement where camera placement, outdoor reliability and adjustable framing matter more than a headline megapixel number. Business districts, warehouses, hotels, retail premises, workshops, schools, clinics and mixed-use properties can all contain difficult surveillance positions: doors facing bright sunlight, covered parking with dark interiors, loading bays with moving vehicles, narrow service corridors and outdoor walls where dust and heat affect the installation. The QNO-7080R fits this type of requirement with 4MP imaging, a 2.8–12mm motorized varifocal lens, 120dB WDR, 30m IR and an IP66/IK10 enclosure. The combination lets an installer first choose a practical mounting position and then refine the scene to the required width or target distance.

For Dubai projects, the lens decision is particularly important. A wide view may be suitable for a receiving entrance or broad service yard, but the same camera can be narrowed toward a gate, doorway or loading position when identification needs demand more pixels on target. Buyers should provide approximate camera-to-subject distance, scene width and whether the objective is general observation, recognition or identification. This avoids ordering a camera that technically works but does not place enough detail on the required target.

Network planning also matters. The QNO-7080R can be powered by PoE, making it convenient for structured Dubai office and warehouse networks, but the switch must be sized for the camera count and total PoE load. NVR capacity should be calculated from resolution, bitrate, frame rate and retention days instead of estimating storage by camera quantity alone. Where the camera is exposed outdoors, cable routing, weatherproof termination, junction-box selection and surge exposure should be reviewed.

FourTeck can support Dubai buyers with camera selection, NVR and storage planning, PoE switch sizing, network segmentation, installation-scope discussion and quotation preparation. Availability and final commercial terms should be confirmed for the requested quantity before a project schedule is committed. For broader CCTV design and installation requirements, buyers can also review FourTeck CCTV installation guidance for Dubai and contact the team with floor plans, site photos or an existing camera schedule.

Hanwha QNO-7080R UAE

Across the UAE, surveillance purchasing often involves more than one location or one building type. A company may have its head office in Dubai, a warehouse in Jebel Ali, a branch in Abu Dhabi and service operations in Sharjah or the Northern Emirates. In this type of deployment, a consistent camera platform simplifies recorder compatibility, user training, spare planning and image-quality expectations. The Hanwha QNO-7080R can be considered for outdoor or semi-outdoor positions requiring 4MP detail, motorized varifocal framing, 30m IR and PoE connectivity. Its bullet form factor is well suited to walls, perimeter lines, gates, loading zones and external approach areas where the direction of view should be visually obvious.

UAE projects should confirm environmental conditions per site rather than assuming one specification works everywhere. Coastal humidity, exposed rooftops, shaded car parks, dusty industrial areas and air-conditioned interiors create different installation demands. IP66 and IK10 are useful enclosure ratings, but project durability also depends on mounting hardware, cable glands, junction boxes, network cabinets, UPS protection and maintenance access. For hot exterior positions, installers should avoid locations that create unnecessary thermal loading where a better shaded mounting position is possible.

Multi-emirate buyers should also standardize recording settings and retention policy. A camera configured at maximum resolution and a high bitrate will consume more storage than a camera tuned for an efficiency-focused business requirement. H.265 can reduce bandwidth and storage demand compared with older compression approaches, but actual savings vary with scene motion and configuration. Retention calculations should therefore be based on the intended recording profile, not on generic per-camera disk estimates.

FourTeck can coordinate UAE enquiries through FourTeck UAE and FourTeck.com. Buyers can request help comparing camera counts, NVR channels, PoE switches, surveillance-grade storage, rack space, UPS capacity and installation scope. Current stock, lead time, warranty terms and delivery arrangements should be verified in the quotation for the exact project quantity.

Hanwha QNO-7080R Kenya

Kenya buyers evaluating the Hanwha QNO-7080R may be planning surveillance for offices, schools, warehouses, logistics yards, retail branches, hotels, institutions or industrial compounds. A practical camera selection starts with the scene rather than the model name: how far is the target from the mounting point, how wide is the area, what happens at night and how will the camera connect back to the recorder? The QNO-7080R provides useful flexibility because the 2.8–12mm motorized lens can be adjusted after installation, allowing one model to serve a broad entrance or a more focused approach lane depending on the final lens setting.

For Kenyan commercial sites, networking and power reliability can be as important as camera resolution. PoE can simplify cabling, but the design should include a suitable switch, UPS strategy and network path to the NVR or VMS. Where the site has long distances between buildings, fibre uplinks or separate camera switches may be more appropriate than trying to extend copper beyond normal Ethernet limits. Outdoor cable routes should also be protected against water ingress, physical damage and electrical exposure.

The QNO-7080R’s 30m IR is useful for low-light monitoring, but buyers should not interpret the IR distance as a guaranteed identification range. The useful level of detail depends on lens zoom, subject size, angle, reflectivity and motion. If a project needs face identification, gate capture or vehicle-plate recognition at a specific distance, the design should be tested against that target. Dedicated LPR/ANPR use cases may require a purpose-built camera rather than a general bullet camera.

Kenya customers can use FourTeck Kenya for regional enquiries and can share the delivery city, camera quantity, NVR preference, retention days and project type. FourTeck can then help prepare a configuration discussion around cameras, switching, storage and accessories. Availability, import logistics, warranty handling and final delivery terms depend on the confirmed product source and order and should be stated in the final quotation.

Hanwha QNO-7080R Kuwait

Kuwait surveillance projects often combine harsh exterior conditions with long operating hours. Warehouses, compounds, logistics operations, retail facilities, offices and hospitality sites may need cameras covering loading areas, gates, vehicle approaches and building perimeters where direct sunlight, dust and strong day-night contrast can challenge image quality. The Hanwha QNO-7080R gives integrators a 4MP bullet option with a motorized 2.8–12mm lens, 120dB WDR, 30m IR and an IP66/IK10 enclosure. These specifications make it suitable for consideration in many general-purpose commercial positions, provided the exact mounting environment remains within the manufacturer’s operating limits.

For Kuwait buyers, WDR can be particularly useful at entrances or covered areas where the background is much brighter than the subject. Instead of allowing a bright exterior to turn a person into a dark silhouette, WDR is designed to preserve more usable information across different brightness zones. The motorized lens then allows the installer to select how much of the scene should be included. This is valuable at loading bays and gates because a wide image may show context while a narrower view may provide better subject detail.

A complete Kuwait bill of materials should also include the recorder or VMS, storage drives, PoE switching, network uplinks, rack or cabinet, UPS and any outdoor accessories. Camera bandwidth should be considered alongside the uplink capacity of the switch. If several cameras share one link back to the NVR, the aggregated stream load must remain within practical network limits. Storage retention should be calculated from real recording settings.

For Kuwait procurement support, buyers can contact FourTeck Kuwait with the required quantity, site type and project schedule. FourTeck can assist with model matching, NVR/storage planning and quotation coordination. Product availability, delivery route, warranty coverage and any installation scope should be confirmed in writing before purchase rather than assumed from a generic product listing.

Hanwha QNO-7080R Ghana

Ghana organizations looking for the Hanwha QNO-7080R may be comparing professional IP cameras for offices, retail sites, schools, hospitality, logistics, industrial facilities and compounds. A 4MP camera can provide a useful balance between image detail and storage demand when compared with basic 1080p or higher-resolution options, but the actual value comes from how the camera is positioned and configured. The QNO-7080R’s 2.8–12mm motorized varifocal lens helps an installer adapt the field of view to a broad yard, doorway, corridor or gate without replacing the lens.

For sites that need night monitoring, the camera includes IR illumination rated up to 30m. In real deployments, installers should check for walls, signs, reflective surfaces or overhanging structures that can bounce IR light back toward the camera and reduce image quality. Camera height and angle also affect how much useful facial or vehicle detail is captured. A site survey, even if performed remotely from drawings and photographs, can help determine whether the QNO-7080R is appropriate for each planned position.

Ghana projects should plan the network as part of the security system. PoE can centralize camera power through a network switch and allow the NVR, switch and router to share UPS protection. In branch or campus environments, VLAN separation can reduce unnecessary interaction between camera traffic and ordinary office devices. Remote viewing should use controlled credentials, current firmware and secure network configuration rather than exposing camera interfaces directly to the public internet.

For Ghana enquiries, FourTeck Ghana can help business buyers review camera quantity, recording needs, storage days, switch capacity and accessory requirements before quotation. Final availability, shipping arrangements, commercial terms and warranty handling vary according to product source, quantity and project conditions and should be confirmed for the requested order.

Hanwha QNO-7080R Uganda

Uganda buyers considering the Hanwha QNO-7080R often need a durable network camera for business premises where outdoor coverage and flexible viewing distance are important. Offices, schools, hotels, warehouses, shops, compounds and industrial sites can have very different scene widths, so the camera’s 2.8–12mm motorized lens can reduce the need to choose a fixed focal length before the final mounting point is confirmed. The installer can begin with the wide end for situational awareness and narrow the field when a gate, entrance or specific operational area needs greater detail.

The 4MP resolution supports more detail than basic 2MP capture while remaining practical for standard NVR deployments. However, storage capacity should still be planned carefully. Camera count alone does not determine disk requirement; bitrate, compression, frame rate, retention period and recording schedule are equally important. For businesses that need weeks of retention, surveillance-grade drives and appropriate NVR capacity may be more important to project success than selecting a higher-resolution camera without storage planning.

PoE support can simplify installation because a single Ethernet cable carries both network traffic and power, but Uganda projects should consider UPS capacity and the reliability of the upstream network. A power interruption at the switch affects every connected camera, so central backup can be valuable. Where camera runs are distributed across multiple buildings, surge protection, fibre inter-building links and grounded infrastructure may be appropriate depending on the site.

Regional buyers can use FourTeck Uganda to discuss the QNO-7080R and wider CCTV requirements. Share the city, application, number of cameras, NVR requirement, retention target and any existing network equipment. FourTeck can assist with a structured bill-of-material review and quotation request. Availability, delivery timing and warranty route should be confirmed for each order rather than treated as fixed.

Hanwha QNO-7080R Nigeria

Nigeria has a broad range of CCTV use cases, from corporate offices and retail chains to warehouses, estates, schools, hotels, factories and logistics operations. Buyers searching for the Hanwha QNO-7080R are typically looking beyond entry-level cameras and want an adjustable 4MP network bullet platform that can fit professional recording systems. The model’s 2.8–12mm motorized varifocal lens is particularly useful for multi-site projects because one camera model can serve different scene widths when each unit is adjusted to its own mounting position.

Power continuity is a major design consideration for many Nigerian projects. Because the QNO-7080R supports PoE, cameras can be centralized on PoE switches backed by a UPS, inverter or other approved power system. The backup design should include the NVR, switch, router and any fibre media equipment required for the surveillance path. Runtime should be calculated from actual equipment load rather than from camera count alone.

Bandwidth is equally important when cameras are viewed across branches or remote links. H.265 and Hanwha’s WiseStream technology can help manage bandwidth, but stream profiles should be tuned to the monitoring need. Security operators may record a high-quality stream locally while using a lower-resolution substream for mobile or remote viewing. This approach can reduce WAN load without compromising the local recording plan. Remote access should be secured with strong authentication and controlled network exposure.

For Nigeria enquiries, buyers can contact FourTeck Nigeria with their site locations, camera count and recording requirements. FourTeck can help compare the QNO-7080R with alternative Hanwha or other professional surveillance options, estimate storage and PoE needs and prepare a quotation request. Current availability, delivery, warranty and local installation arrangements are project dependent and should be confirmed before order approval.

Hanwha QNO-7080R Seychelles

Seychelles surveillance projects can involve hotels, resorts, offices, retail premises, warehouses, marine-facing properties and distributed facilities where humidity, outdoor exposure and logistics planning affect product selection. The Hanwha QNO-7080R offers a useful professional specification for general surveillance: 4MP imaging, a motorized 2.8–12mm lens, 30m IR, 120dB WDR, PoE and an IP66/IK10 enclosure. These features can suit entrances, external walls, service roads and operational zones when the camera is mounted and sealed correctly.

Coastal environments deserve additional attention. An IP rating describes dust and water ingress protection under defined test conditions; it does not automatically make a camera immune to every effect of salt air, corrosion or poor installation. Buyers should discuss mounting material, cable glands, junction boxes, maintenance intervals and whether the exact location is directly exposed to sea spray. Equipment cabinets, connectors and PoE switches also need environmental protection appropriate to the site.

Remote-site projects should also plan spares and support carefully. If a property is outside a major logistics hub, it can be useful to standardize camera models and hold selected spare units or accessories, subject to the project’s maintenance strategy. NVR disk capacity, backup power and network connectivity should be designed so the surveillance system remains usable even when internet connectivity is unstable, because local recording should not depend on continuous external connectivity.

Seychelles buyers can route regional enquiries through FourTeck Africa. Share island/location details, project size, camera positions, recorder requirement and expected retention period so the configuration can be reviewed. Supply availability, freight options, customs responsibilities, warranty terms and commissioning scope should be stated in the commercial proposal for the final order rather than assumed from online listings.

Hanwha QNO-7080R Frequently Asked Questions

1. What resolution does the Hanwha QNO-7080R support?

The QNO-7080R supports up to 4MP resolution, with a maximum listed resolution of 2592 × 1520. Hanwha specifies up to 20fps at 4MP for H.265/H.264 and up to 30/25fps at 2MP depending on the 60Hz or 50Hz operating mode. The best recording setting depends on the required detail, bandwidth and storage retention.

2. Is the QNO-7080R suitable for outdoor installation in Dubai?

The camera is rated IP66 for environmental ingress protection and IK10 for impact resistance, and Hanwha lists an operating range of -30°C to +55°C. Those ratings support many outdoor applications, but the actual Dubai mounting point should still be checked for direct heat, weather exposure, cable sealing, junction-box protection, surge risk and maintenance access.

3. How far can the QNO-7080R see at night?

Hanwha publishes an IR viewable length of up to 30 metres. This is an illumination specification, not a guaranteed identification distance. Useful detail at night depends on lens zoom, target size, motion, angle, surface reflectivity and other lighting. Projects requiring a specific identification distance should validate the scene and lens position.

4. Does the QNO-7080R support PoE?

Yes. The camera supports IEEE 802.3af Class 3 PoE as well as 12V DC. Hanwha lists maximum consumption of approximately 8W on PoE and 7W on 12V DC. When several cameras share a switch, calculate the total PoE budget and leave appropriate headroom rather than sizing only by port count.

5. What lens does the Hanwha QNO-7080R use?

It uses a 2.8–12mm motorized varifocal lens with approximately 4.3x adjustment. The horizontal field of view ranges from roughly 109.7 degrees at the wide end to 26 degrees at the tele end. This makes the camera flexible for entrances, yards, corridors and more focused gate or loading-area views.

6. Can the QNO-7080R record to a microSD card?

Yes. The camera includes one microSD/SDHC/SDXC slot and Hanwha lists support up to 128GB. Edge storage can be useful for event recording or resilience, but it should be sized against bitrate and retention needs. For centralized multi-camera recording, a properly sized NVR or VMS is usually the main storage platform.

7. Does the QNO-7080R support ONVIF?

Hanwha specifies ONVIF Profile S/G support along with SUNAPI. ONVIF can help with interoperability across compatible video platforms, but feature depth can vary between recorders and VMS products. Before buying for an existing system, confirm live video, recording, events, audio and configuration support with the exact recorder or software version.

8. What analytics are built into the QNO-7080R?

The published analytics include defocus detection, motion detection and tampering. The camera also supports event triggers and alarm functions. These are useful operational features, but the QNO-7080R should not be assumed to provide the newer deep-learning object classification available in some current AI camera families.

9. Is the QNO-7080R suitable for license-plate recognition?

It can capture general vehicle scenes, but a dedicated LPR/ANPR project should be designed around vehicle speed, plate angle, distance, shutter requirements and lighting. If reliable license-plate recognition is the objective, a purpose-built LPR camera is often a better choice. FourTeck can review the gate or lane requirement before recommending a camera.

10. How do I request a Hanwha QNO-7080R Dubai quotation?

Send FourTeck the required quantity, Dubai or UAE delivery location, camera positions, NVR requirement and expected retention period. If possible, include floor plans or site photos and the approximate distance from each camera to its target area. FourTeck can then review camera fit, storage, PoE switching and accessories before preparing the commercial request.
